SHANGHAI, CHINA: The Dow Chemical Company became the 100 percent owner of Dow Corning Corporation’s silicones business, on 1 June 2016. Together, the companies will bring complementary leadership in high-growth and attractive end-use applications such as building and construction, consumer care, packaging, transportation, electronics, and energy.
To fully secure the growth synergies enabled by the merger, the companies have decided to combine their two offices in Shanghai Zhangjiang, China. Starting from 1 April 2017, the local teams will be working side by side in the Shanghai Dow Center.
The goal of this joining is to give the same high-quality service for the customers and suppliers.
