Air Liquide Foundation appoints new chairman

PARIS, FRANCE: Air Liquide said that the board of directors of the Air Liquide Foundation has appointed Jean-Marc de Royere as its new chairman, effective 30 March, acting on the proposal made by Benoit Potier, chairman and CEO of Air Liquide.
In his new role, Jean-Marc de Royere succeeds Benoit Potier, who had served as chairman of the foundation since it was founded in 2008. Benoit Potier remains a director on the board.
Royere, a member of the group’s executive committee, supervises international, governance, and corporate social responsibility. He had served as a director on the board of the Air Liquide Foundation since it was founded.
Royere will support the foundation as it enters a new phase of its development, enabling to pursue the foundation’s actions and show new initiatives aimed at growing its contribution to a more sustainable world.
Through its missions, the Air Liquide Foundation illustrates the group’s desire to fully assume its role of responsible corporation and to sustainably focus its corporate philanthropy on the environment, health/respiration and local development.
The Air Liquide Foundation has supported 263 projects in 50 countries since 2008, thanks to the involvement of 330 employees who have recommended or supported projects.
