Pilot Chemical names new VP for manufacturing, engineering segment

CINCINNATI, US: Pilot Chemical Company has appointed Chris Leedy as the vice president (VP) of manufacturing and engineering segment. Recently, Leedy served as VP of operations for Frutarom, a global flavours company. Leedy will replace Ken Eckroth who announced his retirement.
Leedy will lead Pilot’s manufacturing, process and project engineering group functions from Pilot Chemical’s headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio, and will oversee five plants located across US. He brings with him more than 20 years of experience in the surfactants and industrial chemicals industry.
“We are excited to welcome Chris to Pilot’s leadership team. His extensive background in supply chain, product management, marketing and manufacturing will help us drive improvement to ensure future growth and success,” said Mike Scott, president of Pilot Chemical.
