CARY, US: LORD Corporation has named Gareth McAllister as president Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. LORD is a global leader in vibration and motion control technologies, sensing systems, adhesives and coatings.
Gareth joined LORD in 2007 and previously served as the regional director of China where he focused on commercial excellence and technical support through driving the culture to achieve greater customer engagement. This resulted in double-digit growth and many new business wins. Gareth will bring this focus to his new role. He sees partnering with customers to achieve commercial excellence as the way forward in the APAC region.
Gareth succeeds Becky Williams, who will continue her career at the company as president of the company’s aerospace & defence business. Under Williams’ leadership, the APAC region achieved major new customer wins in commercial aerospace, automotive and industrial customers.
