Alkali Manufacturers Association of India (AMAI) on its 40th annual general meeting (AGM) said that it has re-elected Anil Kumar, executive director – chemicals at DCM Shriram Ltd as president of the association for a second term.
In addition, it has also re-elected Jayantibhai Patel, executive chairman of Meghmani Group as its vice president.
Kumar has been with the DCM Shriram Group for over 40 years. DCM is a leading business conglomerate with business portfolio comprising of agri-rural business, chlor-vinyl business and value-added business (Fenesta building systems). The chlor-vinyl business arm manufactures caustic soda, chlorine, calcium carbide, PVC resins, PVC compounds, among others.
