MUMBAI, INDIA: Henkel Adhesives Technologies India Private Limited offers a complete range of dispensing equipment for the automated application of its assembly bonding, sealing and lubricating products. The range includes simple hand-held applicators, semi-automated and fully automated systems, together with special equipment dispensing systems for integration into the production process.
The simplest hand-held applicator mounts directly onto Loctite 50ml and 250ml bottles, while an air-powered handgun dispenses products packaged in 250ml squeeze tubes or 300ml cartridges.
For more frequent use, the integrated manual dispensing system combines an air control system with a product reservoir to accommodate 250ml to 2 kg bottles of product. It is designed for precision beading, potting and ‘by eye’ deposits. Compressed air feeds the product to the applicator and the system is suitable for thin liquids or high viscosity materials.
There are also systems for precision dispensing using a syringe for dots, beads, infills and encapsulations. The applicator and product reservoir are combined into a single unit, allowing the operator to check the level at a glance. Air pressure and dispense times are adjustable and the systems are supplied complete with an applicator holder and footswitch. For demanding applications, a digital version provides high accuracy and flexibility. The use of these versatile and efficient systems improves product quality, reduces fluid usage and increases productivity by up to 60 percent.
Semi-automated dispensing systems are available as an integrated unit or a modular system. The integrated unit combines a two-litre product reservoir with an analogue pressure control, whilst the modular system offers a higher level of precision and flexibility, with a choice of reservoir capacities and a digitally controlled time and pressure system.
Loctite’s automatic controllers provide a fully flexible multi-functional system for operating one or two dispensing valves and controlling peripheral equipment such as advancing units and rotosprays. Rotosprays are used to apply an annular ring of liquid to female components. These systems deliver all the benefits of controlled dispensing with accuracy and repeatability.
In addition to the comprehensive range of standard dispensing systems, the engineers at Loctite technical services have extensive experience of the design and manufacture of special purpose systems. Suitable for a wide range of applications in the automotive, medical, electronic and electrical industries, they are supplied as turn-key solutions. They can be incorporated into a production line or built as a stand-alone station.
Loctite dispensing systems are fast in operation, easy to clean and simple to operate. They perform consistently and reliably and apply precisely the right amount of product to the workpiece. Compared with manual application product savings can be as high as 50 percent with no loss of quality.
