AkzoNobel appoints new deputy chairman of the supervisory board

AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS: AkzoNobel NV has appointed former board director of BP plc, Byron Grote as the company’s new deputy chairman of its supervisory board.

Grote was appointed to AkzoNobel’s supervisory board in 2014 and is currently chairman of the audit committee. He is also a non-executive director of Tesco plc, Anglo-American plc and Standard Chartered plc.
