Corrosion issues in India
I have been in the corrosion field, particularly the coating and cathodic protection, for the last thirty-five years. Being a consultant, I know that material selection at the design stage and selecting the right coating for different environment is an important factor. In the chemical industries, where there are a lot of structures underground and above, like pipelines, storage tanks, boiler tubes in thermal plants, are subjected to external and internal corrosion.
