Arlanxeo increases prices for its chloroprene rubber products

DORMAGEN, GERMANY / MAASTRICHT, NETHERLANDS: Arlanxeo, a joint venture between Lanxess and Saudi Aramco to increase its prices for chloroprene rubber and chloroprene adhesive grades (CR) in all regions as follows:

In Asia, effective as of 1 January 2017, between $300 and $400 per metric tonne and effective as of 1 February 2017, additionally up to $200 per metric tonne.
In Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America effective as of 1 Feb 2017, up to $550 per metric tonne.
Arlanxeo LLC increases the price up to $550 per metric tonne in North America effective as of 15 Feb 2017.
The measure is the result of the overall market- and cost developments of the past months.

Arlanxeo distributes CR under the brand name Baypren. CR products are used in applications like cable sheathings, hoses, belts and air springs as well as adhesives.
